The Condition Coming In
Every car tells a story before we even open the door. The Micra came to us carrying the wear of everyday life — dust settled into the vents, grime worked into the mats, and that lived-in smell that builds up over time without you even noticing. Nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing a standard car wash was going to fix either.
This one needed real work. So that's what it got.
What We Did
Steam Treatment We started with a deep steam clean — the cornerstone of any serious interior detail. Steam penetrates the surfaces that wipes can't reach: tight panel seams, stitching on seats, dash crevices, and door pockets. It lifts built-up grime, kills bacteria, and sanitizes without harsh chemicals. The Micra's interior got hit panel by panel, top to bottom.
Air Gun Blow-Out Before vacuuming, we ran the air gun through every vent, gap, and corner in the cabin. Dust hiding in the instrument cluster, debris lodged between the seat rails, crumbs tucked into the centre console — all of it forced out and into the open. This step makes the vacuum pass dramatically more effective, and most detailers skip it. We don't.
Thorough Vacuum Once the air gun had done its job, we vacuumed the entire interior methodically — seats, carpets, floor wells, beneath the seats, and in between every fold and crevice. The kind of vacuum that actually takes time and attention, not a quick once-over.
Mat Detail The mats took a dedicated treatment of their own. Scrubbed, cleaned, and brought back looking fresh — because dirty mats undermine an otherwise clean interior every single time.
Seat Detail The seats were cleaned thoroughly, getting into the bolsters, the stitching lines, and the cushion folds. We took our time here. Seats are what you feel every single time you get in — they deserve the attention.
Interior Detail & Wipe-Down Every hard surface in the cabin — the dash, door panels, centre console, steering wheel, door handles — was cleaned and dressed. No smearing, no streaking. Just clean, consistent, finished surfaces throughout.
Fresh Scent Finish We closed the job with a fresh scent treatment to leave the cabin smelling as clean as it looks. Not overpowering — just clean, crisp, and welcoming. The kind of smell that makes you pause for a second when you open the door.
